Senior Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Team as part of our Design and Construction Team in Gladstone QLD.

Reporting to the Electrical Discipline Leader, your key responsibilities will be to:
  • Deliver projects for clients who own and operate large assets in the Energy, Resources and Manufacturing sectors.
  • Engage with clients and develop trusted relationships.
  • Manage opportunities through the entire life cycle (lead, proposal, commission, close out and final invoicing) in accordance with the Logitech Engineering project methodology.
  • Provide leadership to the South-East Queensland team as a hands-on Project Leader and Project Director to achieve commercial targets.
  • Managing, motivating, coordinating and mentoring project teams of professional.
  • Manage the workshare effort required to successfully deliver projects. This could include any location within Logitech Engineering nationally.

To be eligible for this position you will:
  • Have qualifications in a relevant technical field (Bachelor of Engineering- Electrical).
  • Be a registered Professional Engineer Qld (RPEQ).
  • Have experience with Operational Excellence, Asset Management, Condition Monitoring, Plant Automation, HV and LV design Experience.
  • Hazardous area classification, design and auditing experience will be highly regarded.
  • Capability in power systems analysis and renewables will be highly regarded.

  • Understand the engineering/consulting business.
  • Must be a team builder and have strong team development skills.
  • Outstanding relationship and interpersonal skills, able to build networks and demonstrate collaboration skills.
  • Relevant technical qualification combined with a heavy-industry construction background.
  • A proven track record in delivering projects and leading delivery teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster and evolve client relationships through successful project delivery.
  • A track record in bringing innovation to complex problems.
  • Understanding of the operational issues faced by businesses currently operating in the Energy, Resources and Manufacturing market sectors.
  • Experience across the industries that our Client's operate within eg; Aluminium, Oil and Gas, Minerals Processing, Water or Sewage Treatment, and Power Generation.
