Logitech Engineering's largest design team is the Automation and Controls Group (Logitech Controls). With expertise in virtually every brand of PLC / SCADA / DCS control system on the market. Logitech have programmed and commissioned thousands of systems across Australia, South East Asia and Europe - ranging from small packaged equipment with just a few I/O points to full scale distributed control systems exceeding ten thousand I/O points.
Logitech Engineering have partnerships with Honeywell, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Yokogawa and Citect - for design, programming and system integration.
Distributed Control
Several large portions of the programming for the Honeywell DCS at the Yarwun Alumina Refinery in Gladstone (RioTinto)
were programmed by Logitech Controls. The 2009 expansion of the control room and DCS central controllers was also
undertaken by members of our Automation Team.

Operator Screens
DCS graphic pages need to contain all of the important information that an operator needs to run the plant,
but only the significant tasks which need their attention should stand out from a page. Careful selection of colours,
fonts and screen resolution makes a screen easier to read, but should not be too dull so that it sends an operator
to sleep. Years of research with different screen layouts and techniques have led Logitech Controls to establish a set
of guidelines that our programmers can follow, and a comprehensive library that saves on programming time.
